Peter graduated from Monash University in 2007. Since then he has worked in metropolitan Melbourne and rural Gippsland. As a junior doctor he worked in surgical specialities before undertaking further training in General Practice. He loves general practice and his special interests are weight loss medicine, skin cancer checks and excisions, men’s health, travel medicine and paediatrics. He is also an accredited GP supervisor, training and mentoring the next generation of GPs.
Mansi moved to Melbourne from New Zealand in early 2007. She obtained her medical degree from Otago University, New Zealand in 2006. She has worked in both Melbourne and rural Victorian hospitals since moving here. She enjoys all areas of general practice. Her special interests include preventative medicine, mental health, family planning and skin checks (dermoscopy). She is trained to perform implanon insertions and removals. She is also an accredited GP supervisor and an examiner with the RACGP.
Filip graduated from Monash University in 2008 and worked across various hospital networks in Victoria prior to completing his GP training in Melbourne. He gained further experience by volunteering overseas. His special interests in general practice include Sexual and Reproductive Health, Mental Health including medicinal cannabis and complex psychiatric disorders, cosmetic medicine and paediatrics. He is trained to perform IUD (MIRENA and Copper IUD) insertion and removal, MTOP and Implanon insertion and removal. Filip can also speak fluent Serbian and basic Spanish.
Christine grew up in Melbourne and graduated from the Australia National University in Medicine in 2013. She has spent time in both Canberra and Victoria training in metropolitan and rural hospitals and clinics. In 2015 she completed a Diploma in Child health and 2021 saw the completion of a National Certificate in Reproductive and Sexual health with Family Planning Victoria. She is also a supervisor for GP registrars and frequently teaches medical students in her rooms. Christine enjoys all areas of general practice and her special interests include Children’s and Women’s health. She is trained to perform IUD (Mirena/Copper) and Implanon insertion and removal. She is able to converse in Cantonese. When not at work Christine enjoys spending time with her family and playing with her little boy. She also enjoys attending Church, travelling, baking and catching up with friends.
Kerryn grew up in Melbourne and completed her medical degree at The University of Notre Dame (Sydney) in 2016. After graduating she has gained experience in both rural and metropolitan hospitals in Victoria before completing GP training. Kerryn enjoys all aspects of general practice. She enjoys a holistic approach to medicine, focussing on the whole person. She has special interests in children’s and women’s health, sexual and reproductive health, and mental health. She is trained to perform Implanon insertion and removal.
Selena graduated from Monash University in 2017, and started her career at Monash Health, where she gained experience in various areas of medicine. She has worked in Obstetrics and Gynaecology for 18 months and completed a Certificate of Women’s Health prior to commencing her specialist training in general practice. Her special interests include Women’s health, Children’s health and skin procedures. She is trained in Implanon insertion and removal. She is also able to converse in Mandarin as a second language. Outside of work Selena enjoys cooking, travelling, and playing board games.
Lucy returns to Southbank Medical Clinic after completing her specialist training in General Practice. Lucy graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2017 and completed her medical training at the Royal Melbourne Hospital. Prior to becoming a doctor, Lucy worked as a physiotherapist. She has a special interest in older adults, sports medicine, sexual health and LGBTQIA+ health. She has completed an additional qualification in Children’s health. She is qualified to perform minor procedures including Implanon insertion and removal, minor skin excisions, and is an accredited Yellow Fever Vaccination Prescriber.
Matthew graduated from the University of Queensland in 2017. Following this he worked across regional and metropolitan hospitals throughout Queensland and Victoria for a number of years before deciding that nothing could beat the liveability of Melbourne. He undertook specialist GP training at various practices in Melbourne and returns to Southbank Medical Clinic having completed his training and gaining fellowship of the RACGP. Matthew is keen to embrace the mosaic of social, medical and mental health issues that gives General Practice its exciting diversity. His special interests include aged care, adolescent and youth health, chronic disease management, skin health and sexual and reproductive health. He is trained to perform iron infusions and insertion and removal of Implanon. Outside of work, he would be planning his next thrilling holiday.
Southbank Medical Clinic is a newly established, independently owned and run general practice providing medical care to the local communities of Southbank, South Melbourne and St Kilda Road area.
