Our doctors are fully supported by experienced Division 1 Registered practice nurses. They regularly participate in Continuous Professional Development activities to keep up to date with best practice guidelines, ensuring you receive the best possible care.

Our nurses triage and help us prioritise patients according to urgency. They provide a number of services to augment and assist our doctors in the continuity of care of our patients. Our nursing services include:

  • vaccination management and administration including maintaining up to date records on the Australian Immunisations Register
  • administration of various injections, for example, vitamin B12 injection, Depo Provera injection and allergy desensitisation injections
  • wound care advice and management
  • assisting doctors with health assessments and chronic disease care plans
  • performing ECGs
  • performing ear syringing for excessive ear wax build up
  • assisting in a number of minor procedures

Appointments can be made online with our practice nurses once you have been seen by one of our doctors and have been referred for ongoing treatment with our nurses for issues such as wound dressings or regular vitamin B12 injections. Please speak with one of our reception staff if you are not sure whether it may be appropriate to book an appointment with our practice nurses.
