Our practice has a dedicated pathology collection centre on site (Melbourne Pathology) offering a wide range of services, including sample collection for tests (blood, nail clippings etc.), performing ECGs, and conducting helicobacter pylori breath tests.
Patients are not required to book an appointment for most tests however a current referral is required. A booking is required for the collection of the NIPT (Non Invasive Prenatal Testing) sample.
The Melbourne Pathology collection centre at our practice is currently open Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 3:00pm. Please note the collection centre is closed between 1 and 1:30pm for the nurse’s lunch break.
Southbank Medical Clinic is a newly established, independently owned and run general practice providing medical care to the local communities of Southbank, South Melbourne and St Kilda Road area.
